===> TrewTron FAQ Page: (this is the main page)

===> What is TrewTron?

TrewTron is a truly simple programming language for youngsters and novices. TrewTron is appropriate for any student who wants a gentle introduction to programming. It is specially designed to have the most straightforward syntax possible (while still being a programming language). Despite its apparent simplicy, the possibilities of TrewTron are endless. While simple TrewTron programming problems have been solved by students as young as 9, complex TrewTron problems can befuddle experienced computer scientists.

===> How do I start programming in TrewTron?

You can edit and run TrewTron programs on the interaction page. TrewTron will always be free to use. The easiest way to start is to work through the tutorials and solve the practice problems.

===> Do you want to see my cool new TrewTron program?

Sure! Send it to andrei AT goodsofthemind DOT com, and include your age. When we have collected a few good programs, we will make a page with the most interesting student programs by age group (students will be acknowledged by their initials to ensure their privacy).

===> Why doesn't this site have any ads?

We would like you to be aware of the educational services of Goods of the Mind, LLC, which include USACO training for high-school students. USACO is the most important programming contest for high-school students in the U.S.

===> Do you want a better look and feel for your website?
===> I know a great web designer ...

For the time being, TrewTron does not have enough users to justify a super-fancy web design. When it has enough users, we'll reconsider our "plain text design."

===> How can I help?

If you enjoy using TrewTron, please help this site by spreading the word. Tell your friends about TrewTron, or post/blog/tweet about TrewTron in social networking. The more users TrewTron has, the more time and effort we can put into improvements.
